Master Plumber of the Year Award

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent customer-focused service backed by professional training and support for our staff. We also give back to our industry by supporting apprentice training and promoting diversity within our workforce. We've been very fortunate to have our efforts recognised with the following awards:

We regularly nominate and celebrate the value of our team through awards. Below are some of their achievements.

2023

  • Winner of Master Plumber, Gasfitter or Drainlayer of the Year at the 2023 NZ Plumbing Awards in recognition of excellence in trade and leadership skills.

2022

  • Winner of Tradeswoman of the Year at the 2022 National Association of Women in Construction Excellence Awards.

  • Overall winner of the James Douglas Medallion at the 2022 NZ Plumbing Awards in recognition for being the most outstanding newly qualified apprentice in New Zealand.

  • Winner of the Plumbing category for the James Douglas Medallion at the 2022 NZ Plumbing Awards.

  • Recognised as the highest scoring apprentice nationwide at the 2022 Young Plumber of the Year National Awards.

2021

  • New Year Honours: Appointed as an Officer of the NZ Order of Merit for services to the plumbing and gasfitting industry and women.

  • New Zealand Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board Merit Award of Excellence for the highest certifying plumbing exam marks.

  • Second place at the Lower Hutt Young Plumber of the Year competition.

2020

  • Winner of the inaugural Jackson Women in Plumbing Award at the 2020 NZ Plumbing Awards for contribution to the New Zealand plumbing industry.

2019

  • Winner of the Helen Tippett Award; the Supreme Award of the National Association of Women in Construction. Awarded for an outstanding and enduring contribution to supporting women in trade.

  • Finalist in the Plumbing World Young Plumber of the Year Award.

  • Finalist in the New Zealand Women on Board's Supreme Award: Inspiring Governance Leader Award.

  • Winners of the Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt Plumbing World Young Plumber of the Year competition.

  • Winner of the Gasfitting category and finalist in the Master Plumber's James Douglas Medallion Award.

  • Bronze Medallist at the New Zealand WorldSkills Plumbing Competition.

  • Member of Wellington Team which won Best Region award for highest average team score at the New Zealand WorldSkills Competition.

  • Finalist in the Plumbing World Young Plumber of the Year Award.
